Dry Wall Coming Down...in the Pantry

We spent the day tearing down dry wall in the old pantry,

to prep to do the plumbing for the new bathroom.

We have a Handle on things...

We finally recieved our handles this weekend.

We have put them all on the kitchen cupboards.

The start of the Man Cave

Bruce got a really nice Work Bench for Christmas.

Jessica decided it was the best incentive to help clean

up the garage, but also a place for Bruce to work.

I have started to paint one of the upstairs bedrooms. The picture on the bottom is the before picture. The picture above is just the begining. The walls are nice blue/gray. I have primed the waynes coating and shelf, so that they will soon become an ivory color.

PANTRY DEMO

Yesterday we spent the morning ripping out
cabnits and the tile. The pantry will be turning
into a 1/2 bath. Next door the bathroom powder
room will be turned into a pantry.

Let it Snow!!

We have about 3 feet of snow in some areas of our yard. We ended up making the big investment in a snow blower. It has turned out to be the best investment we have made in 2008.

PAINTING IN PROCESS

This weekend.... Jessica primed the wood in the hallway white. Next weekend... we will finish the hallway by adding a coat of white paint. It's amazing to see how much lighter it made the hallway.

Here it is..... Some say I missed my calling in life.

I would disagree. I love to decorate, but I am a much better teacher. Window Treatments are the last item we need to add to complete this room. Final colors are Red, Olive Green, Ivory and Black
