NEWLY STAINED DECK

Daniel and Courtney came up Saturday afternoon and stayed the night. We woke up Sunday and stained the back deck. Thanks too Dan and Courtney we got one more project done and out of the way. Well we didn't really get to choose the color of the deck stain, but buying mistint stain saved us $60.00 dollars. I was shopping at Lowe's a couple weeks ago and found 3 cans of stain in the mistint section, one can typically cost $30.00. I got all 3 cans for $30!! We scored on the stain...in addition we like the color. If you scroll down a few pictures you can see the color... of the deck before.

ADDING CURB APPEAL TO THE FRONT YARD

Jessica and her Mother worked hard in the front yard today.
The addition of the hanging flower pots, brings some curb
appeal to the house. Soon Jessica would like to paint the
front door black.

AFTER SPRING YARD CLEAN UP

The Hard Work Pays Off. Look at the second picture from the top of this posting. We ripped out a huge section of overgrown shrubs and trees. Check out the before pictures below to see the diffrence.

BEFORE SPRING YARD CLEAN UP

We had piles of wood in our back yard from the previous owners.
Not to mention that every plant, shrub or Tree have never been
trimmed. So we had major over growth going on. We ripped out
trees and shrubs... etc. Today we did a major over haul of the back
yard. 4 Trips to the dump and a whole day of cleaning. You can
see the before and after pictures so far. We still have hours of work
ahead of us. Jessica's mom will be up to help plant flowers in the
garden Saturday.

Pantry is 98% Complete

It's been a very productive week here in Layton.
We finally have shelves in the Pantry. Minor details...
such as buying a few more baskets and putting labels
on the baskets. It would not be Jessica's pantry if it
something wasn't mounted and laminated.
Jessica can be a little OCD when it comes to orgnization.
